Welcome to the Tucson Society of the Blind, TSB, website. TSB provides social and educational programs for those individuals with low or no vision. TSB provides valuable resources on coping with blindness and vision impairment. It is wonderful to meet other visually impaired seniors who can act as mentors and provide emotional support.

History

In November of 2003, thirteen individuals organized Tucson Society of the Blind. TSB is now recognized throughout the community as an organization that serves those with limited sight.

TSB is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors. TSB provides social, recreational and educational programs for legally blind adults and those coping with vision loss. Membership has grown to more than 80. Increased donations have allowed a greater range of programs and field trips.

Membership Dues are $15.00 a year

TSB Members participate in various fund raising activities

TSB now provides, free of charge, low vision resource packets to Tucson ophthalmologists for their patients.

New Members receive Welcome Packets that include:

  • A Resource List
  • Sun Sounds of Arizona
  • Catalog information for visually impaired
  • Macular Degeneration information
  • And many more items
